In-Home Postpartum Aide Internship Opportunity

MomsBloom is a great internship opportunity for those that are looking for hands-on experience supporting families with newborns and toddlers! You will be matched with 3-4 postpartum families within Ottawa County and provide in-home, hands-on support to relieve their stress.

Current opening for Ottawa County only

Interns are offered a $500 stipend to cover the costs of drive time, mileage to and from visits, housing, etc.

Requirements:

• Currently attending a university, college, or educational program (any degree)

• 12+ hour commitment each week (no more than 25 hours/week)

  • for minimum of 12 weeks

• Comfortable providing services in a family’s home (throughout Ottawa Counties which may include up to a 30 minute drive to and from the home)

• Ability to provide empathetic and non-judgmental support to ALL families

• Must be able to independently provide support to your matches (a staff member will not be in the home with the intern; staff support is always available via call, text, video chat, etc.)
