Ways to show up for families
-
As a Postpartum Aide, you'll play a vital role in supporting new families during the crucial early months after childbirth. Volunteering 2-4 hours per week for a period of 12-15 weeks, you may assist with a variety of tasks including household chores, caring for the newborn, and playing with older siblings. Your presence will offer practical help and emotional support, providing new parents with a much-needed break and a listening ear.
-
As an Intake Visitor, you'll be the first point of contact for families who have signed up for our postpartum support services. Committing to visit 4 families per month, each visit lasting between 45 minutes and an hour, you'll provide essential information about our program and gather details about each family's unique needs and preferences. Your role is to build a connection with the families, ensuring they feel welcomed and informed about our program and next steps.

If you're looking for flexible ways to support our mission, consider joining us as an occasional volunteer. These opportunities include assisting with information booths at events, helping to assemble welcome folders for new families, and working fundraising events. Whether you can dedicate a few hours or participate in special events, your help will make a meaningful impact on our ability to support postpartum families.
